First thing,

Something that seems to be Top Priority is....we need Contact Information!

So if you could possibly send a private message to me, Brett, Andy, or Carrie with contact info, that'd be great! Eventually we'll figure out some sort of committee and then we'll have more specific people to send info to, yada yada. But for now...we'll just stick with class officers. Andy volunteered to help organize that info (he's good at that sort of thing ;P) We need email address and mailing addresses. Asap, please!

Next thing is, Andy....you mentioned we needed to name

positions or some sort of committee....please help me with that!

Also...Deidra, thanks for mentioning Skpe.  

Andy...would Skpe work to have a "talk". I am all for that. It'll be a lot easier to see who is talking and keep track of things, I think.

Okay, well that is all I can think of for now.

Check out our discussion forum. I will post on here when something new comes up on there.

We just need to get a feel for what people want to do.

Ideas??

Okay people.....

So now is the time I guess that we start bouncing some ideas back and forth for our 10 year Reunion.

Any ideas??

Of course our class has to do things differently. So think OUTSIDE the box. Not the norm.

Rough ideas:

So Brett initially had a couple ideas...one being hold it in a Barn and the other being hold it in a huge tent in Teaque Park and somehow incorporate donating money (that is collected from tickets) to the park or schools for using the park.

Then I talked to Meg Irving and she mentioned that she might be able to get a Quonset hut (sp?). I believe that is what it is. (Correct me Meg, if I am wrong)

I can SO picture hanging strings of lights with the really big clear bulbs....zig-zagged across the area. 

Have kind of a rustic look.

Also what do you guys think about doing 2 days?

One night being the Ice Breaker (drinks & apps, mingling). Then the second day being a family day. A picnic/barbeque type thing. So that we can incorporate our families??

I think that is enough to ponder for now.

Last night I was having a conversation with Meagan (Corriveau) Irving and we talked a lot about our upcoming 10th reunion. We came to the conclusion that we needed a place to be able to make these plans with our fellow classmates. I didn't think our class Facebook page was a good place, because it doesn't offer any alerts as to when someone posts something. Also, not everyone is on Facebook. So...since I already have my own personal blog, I thought I could make a blog for our class! That way we can hold discussions and let people know what is up.
